Complicated story

The story begins with Brandy, an 18 year old young man with a complicated and broken family. One day, he met a 13 year old girl with a caring and protective family. They are both from a completely different family background or should I say a different world. At last after knowing each other for 5 years, both of them started dating. The both of them were very loving at first. Just like normal couples out there, go out for romantic dinner, movies, hold hands etc.

A month later, Brandy texted his girl friend and tell her about his family problems out of a sudden. The girl was usually very patient in listening people's problem but because of the exhausting day, she couldn't wait till the message comes and doze off. The next day, both of them just got back to normal and his problem seem to fade away physically but not mentally. So, the girl just assumed that everything goes back to normal but not for Brandy.

Two months later, in the middle of the night, Brandy nudged the girl in msn and told her about their relationship are having problem. The girl asked why and Brandy replied with "I want a person which can accompany me 24/7 and I can tell her my problems" "When I tell you my problems, you ran away". The girl was puzzled and confused of what he said. From the first day the both of them started dating, Brandy already knew the girl was always busy as she has to work in the morning and study at night. Do you think she have the energy and time to be with him 24/7? Besides, a relationship is not about being with each other 24/7, it's about understanding one another.

Furthermore, the girl explained to him that she didn't run away when he told her his problem, in fact she fell asleep and guess what? Brandy replied her this "You know I'm facing a problem with my family here and yet you can fall asleep!" Come on! You can't blame this on her, it's not her fault. She has huge responsibilities and task everyday. A normal human being will get tired of all these work loads in a day. Not like she's a robot or some kind of alien. Lame to say that the both of them broke up in the net. They didn't even have a proper phone call to settle this matter. The emotional part arrived, the girl spent the whole night crying herself to sleep as she was confused why they broke up because of this unreasonable excuse.

Day after the both of them broke up, the girl texted the guy with this;
"I'm glad that I have a chance to know you deeper. I'm not sure if I should be sad or what because you told me off in msn. It seems so immature. I know I might not be a good gf but I'm definitely serious and responsible for the relationship I'm in."

Brandy replied the message with anger;
"Yes, I'm immature, I always argue for the unfair things my parents and my brother did to me, since I was young, nobody listens to my problem and I am always the one who is wrong. You won't understand how I feel, I feel lonely since I was young till now. My father left us and gave everything to my elder brother. All my uni mates are seeking for advantages from people including my close friends. I don't like to carry balls like them. I prefer to stay away from them instead. As for the other group of my close friends, I can't afford to join them because they spend too much and whenever I pour my problems out to them, they run away as well. I felt hurt the moment you fell asleep when I tell you my problems. I lied to myself and thought it was ok. I also understand that you have to work and study, I feel very lonely because I can only see you once a week. You will never understand me, even my parents don't know me."

The relationships ends here as Brandy insisted to say that his gf doesn't understand him and unable to be with him all the time. Hence, whose fault was that? Is it Brandy's fault for being childish or is it the girl's fault for not fulfilling his requirements?

“We pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God” (Colossians 1:10).

You can’t change what happens, it’s all about how you choose to live your day.
