HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVANGELINE LAI (4 Nov 09)We might not have known each other for long. It's time to tell you how I feel about you, I really treated you like my own sister. Somehow, I have a sense of closeness when I'm with you (sounds so wrong). Anyway, It's like I've known you for 10 years instead of 10 months (you should know what I mean, scorpion!). I want to tell you with my heart, I really cherish our friendship a lot. Probably you might not have noticed but I've never done so much for a friend before. Maybe that's fate! God brings you into my life. When I'm down, you borrow me your pair of ears; when I'm sick, you bring me out to eat. Vice versa, when you're down, I'm listen to you and when you're sick, I have to become "chai poh" (policewoman) to take care of your food consumption.

Although the previous island trip was not like what we've expected and lots of disturbance but overall it was ok (come on la! it's our first trip together, can't be that bad!). To be honest, in times the other half of me said to myself "I'm bored", whereas the other part of me said "have a break, enough of stress for u in the city". You know what? I ended up listening to the other part of me, that is why I don't feel bored even if we didn't do much. In fact, it's a very relaxing and rejuvenating trip. Don't you think so? Ok.. Remain silent! I know your answer. Sheeeshh!

Thanks for the memories! Knowing you is the luckiest thing happened in my life. Besides my family, you're the person I care the most. Just like Amy said, "Evan's Best Darlings". Haha!

Gem Island 22-24 Oct 2009

GEM ISLAND, TERENGGANU (22-24 Oct 09)

Day before the trip (21.10.09)

We were both very excited and looking forward to this trip to Gem Island but something unfortunate happened the day before. *so sad* It makes our moods go down. I slept over at her house so that we don't have to get up freaking early to meet up in the morning (flight 7.30 am,do u know what time we have to be at the airport? latest by 7 am). Both of us were pretty tired that night itself, packed stuffs and straight away drop dead on bed.

1st day (22.10.09)
Finally, this is the day we've been waiting for. Woke up early morning with zombie faces! *Urrghh!* By the time we reach the airport, it's still a little bit early though. While waiting to board on plane was so bored. Both of us were rotting and camwhoring at the boarding entrance like fools. LOL! The funny part is when she wear the blindfold I gave her in the plane, people were looking at her as if she's doing some kinda clown show or something. HAHA! We landed safely but unfortunately, we missed the first boat by 10 mins!! and have to wait for another few hours for the next boat. How pathetic!

Ok, let's stop the crap and move on to the island part. The scenery there was awesome! Great place to take pictures of sunrise & sunset. The room names there was quite cool as well! We were placed in Agate(not-so-cool name). Whenever we pass by the rooms with the 'stone' word, she'll ask me to shut up because her nickname is stonehead. So, it's somehow related. Anyway, the 'stone' rooms are Bloodstone (supposed to take this room), Moonstone, Sunstone and Sandstone. Cool huh? Some pictures here to show you the beautiful scenery.

2nd day (22.10.09)
We purposely wake up early morning to take pictures of the sunrise because we didn't manage to take sunset. The view from outside not as nice the view in our room. Anyway, we get back to sleep after taking pictures. We were like pigs taking summer breaks at the resort. LOL! Eat, sleep, take pics and spa. Well, I still have to carry my duty as a 'chai poh' (policewoman) because she's sick throughout the trip. =.=ll. We get to know some 'kwai lou' there while we were having breakfast. Well, we didn't know the island at the opposite of us is Kapas Island until they tell us (so embarrassed) *blushh*. Foreigners have to teach us (the locals) places on our homeland. Sheeshh! Anyway, we spent most of our time in the room sleeping, relaxing on the net hanged at the beach, sand art etc. LOL!

Last day, (24.10.09)
Although we rested a lot but yet we're still exhausted and felt tired. Perhaps we rested too much? Maybe not. Anyway, while we were on the boat departing the island, I have a feeling that I will be back to that island. It's the matter of when only. We camwhored throughout the journey, I can tell that she still feels sick but can't help it. Out of a blue, when we were in the plane, her ears can't equalize and I was having a tough time thinking what I should do. Plus, the plane had turbulence (worsen the condition). Was trying hard to calm her down, she kept telling me "there's a needle in my ear! pull it out!!!". The moment when she was in pain made me feel that I'm helpless. I was confused, worried, anxious etc...... yet, trying to calm her down. In times of difficulties, we must have the positive and negative person to be together so that the positive can neutralise the negative person.

After breakfast we went to Sengoi Village for missionary work. It was quite sunny on that day. Just look at the bright light shining to Feli. =p. We reached there quite early this time, they were not there yet. LOL! Our mission for the day; ice breaker, worship, games, craft work, fun time and lunch.

1st day (19.09.09)

It was a rainy day before we left, but thank God! We reached there safely. All of us rushed to the famous claypot chicken rice shop straight away for dinner. Well, it was a yummy dinner (Jasmine's favourite!). Haha!

2nd day (20.09.09)
We woke up early morning to try out the nice food at the market. =). Then we proceed to the church for service. We were all very tired and sleepy when we were in the service. Didn't have enough rest the day before (it's perfectly normal).

3rd day (21.09.09)
This is the day we went to the Sengoi village at Pos Dipang for mission work. I will post another post specially for the Mission work activities. After mission work, we went to buy our souvenirs back and go for dinner then back to KL.

Be Nice

Do you know why it's crucial to be nice to people and why do you have to treat people fairly?

These are the common questions or should I say excuses from the crowd

"Why should I be nice to her if she treat me badly?", "Why do I have to be nice with him when he's not related to me?"or perhaps "Why do I have to be fair when everyone is being unfair?".

Being nice to someone isn't all about getting a pay back from the person you're nice to or whether the person is related to you or not. If you think your friends or whoever are being unfair to you, just let them be. You can't control them from acting that way, all you can do is just talk to them about it or just bare with it. When everyone is being unfair, it doesn't mean you have to do the same thing, if you think it's right to stand out, Go Ahead! Fight for Justice! or else just shut up and let it be.

If you ever be nice to someone, but that person doesn't seem to appreciate it. It's ok, you're accumulating your good deeds and eventually you'll get a better pay back from another person. Treat a person with all your heart and you'll get it back from another person, if that person you treat well, ignored you. This principe can be applied to both working & social world. Always pray and hope for a miracle to happen. Don't give up that easily, or else you'll really fail!

I might not be involved in the sales challenge but I supported them internally all the way throughout these few challenges and I'm proud of their achievements for today! Most of all, I'm very proud of the results for this round's challenge, especially....... guess you guys will know who I'm referring to. It has been one of her greatest achievement in life to close the sales she had just recently brought back.

First of all, this is a backdated post. It may seems drama but I really am grateful. I gave all my effort on my work and studies, sometimes I even skipped my meals because of the works I'm handling. I always give my 100% concentration on something which I think I'm responsible for. Even if it's my responsibility or not, I'll still try my best to solve the problem. Am I just plain silly or I overworked myself? Anyway, the effort I put into my work didn't go waste, I was being appreciated for the works I've done. Although these gifts may seem nothing to some of you, but it means a lot to me. I'm really grateful that I was employed by them. I might have endless of works to do and got scolded when I did mistake but I've learnt my lesson and at least I know I'm appreciated for the works I've done. Just like the old saying "No pain, no gain". It's true people! Believe it! I experienced pain and now I gain what I deserve.

My First Coach from my boss

You know what? I cried several times due to the workload from the office, got scolded by boss and assignments that strikes me at the same time. In times, I am kind of angry of my boss coz sometimes I did too much things for her but I don't know why my anger just gone away in just a few mins time eventhough I'm angry. I'm still so young and I have to manage such pressures. This is not what a normal teenager is supposed to do. This is not the plan I made early of this year. I was supposed to work part time for few months and start studying full time. All the friends at my age are enjoying their college life, shopping or movies after class, sem breaks holidays etc. In contrast, whenever I have sem break holiday, it's not a holiday or a big deal to me, as I still have to go to work. Anyway, cut the crap! I've learnt a lot during this period of time working in the company, my boss is the kind of person with high expectations and requirements. I'm glad that I can fulfilled all the requirements and I've learnt from my mistakes. "Those who forget the past, condemns to repeat it" .

THOUSANDS OF THANKS TO YOU, EVANGELINE! Without her, I won't be able to work and manage my time so well now. This post is specially thank her.
